Otterdene is a family-run farm nestled deep in the beautiful East Devon Countryside much of which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spread over 14 acres, and set amongst Devon's rolling hills and lush woodland, Otterdene provides the perfect base from which to enjoy walking, cycling, wildlife-watching and horse-riding.
Sea, sand and fossils are close by too. Sandy beaches at Exmouth are a short ride away as is the stunning Jurassic Coast where you can spend fun days fossil hunting. Even closer to home are the elegant Regency town of Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton with its uniquely pebbled beach.
The inspiring countryside and coastline also make Otterdene the perfect base for a creative break; Judy Edwards, one of the owners of Otterdene and a Creative Arts tutor holds day and weekend courses on printing, ceramics, plaster casting and a variety of Interior Design based workshops. Although Otterdene is beautifully secluded, we are also easy to find being just 1 1/2 miles from the main East Devon coast road. If you would like any more information on the farm, facilities or surrounding area, please call or email us. We look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you at Otterdene.
Please note that one well supervised dog is very welcome at Otterdene. Due to the nature of the site he or she must be good around other animals.
